Core Duties

• Complete a broad array of ultrasound imaging procedures with accuracy and care
• Engage patients through compassionate, professional conversation throughout the exam process
• Maintain a positive presence that helps create a welcoming clinical atmosphere
• Keep imaging equipment and work areas clean and properly prepared
• Coordinate smoothly and respectfully with hospital colleagues and internal team members
• Apply technical proficiency with the instruments and systems used in diagnostic ultrasound
• Carry out additional related tasks that support overall team success as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of ultrasound imaging experience after completing training
• Current ARDMS RDMS credential, ideally with Abdomen or Obstetrics specialty
• Valid driver’s license
• Active BLS or CPR certification
• Demonstrated professionalism combined with strong interpersonal communication ability
• Self-directed approach and comfort working independently
• Ability to meet all hospital employment health standards, including drug screening and background check
• Competence and comfort performing general abdominal, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound scans and procedures
• Ease using mobile phones and associated applications for daily workflow needs
