What This Role Involves

The Vehicle Delivery Agent position with I'm In The Right centres on transporting cars safely throughout the Hallam and surrounding localities. You will focus on the practical movement of replacement and other fleet vehicles as part of accident recovery processes, combining careful driving with clear communication and thorough checks so every handover meets high standards of care and reliability.

Your Responsibilities

• Collect assigned vehicles from designated points and deliver them promptly to customers or service locations across the Hallam and wider Casey Area
• Perform pre- and post-delivery inspections, noting any existing marks or issues and confirming the vehicle is clean, fuelled and ready
• Complete required delivery paperwork accurately, obtain necessary customer acknowledgements and return all documentation promptly
• Maintain open contact with the team throughout routes, provide updates on timings and follow all road safety and company procedures during every trip
• Represent the organisation professionally when meeting customers, answering simple queries about the delivery process and upholding a helpful, calm manner

Skills & Qualifications

• Current full Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record suitable for regular commercial vehicle use
• Solid knowledge of major and local roads in and around Hallam to plan efficient routes
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle condition checks and accurate form completion
• Friendly customer-facing approach and clear verbal communication skills
• Reliable, organised and able to manage time well while working independently on the road
• Comfortable lifting light items such as spare keys or paperwork when required and following workplace safety guidelines
