Networkplus is seeking a full-time Business Analyst based in Alfreton to act as an embedded partner within a defined business area. You will work daily with senior leaders to surface and deliver meaningful operational gains.
Role Overview
This Business Analyst post at Networkplus places you inside a specific commercial domain in Alfreton, collaborating closely every day with the Managing Director and Commercial Director. The focus is gaining genuine insight into how that area functions so you can surface advances spanning people, operational methods and systems. Improvement of the business itself sits at the core, extending far beyond technology because substantial value commonly arises from how work is arranged, how teams are configured, how processes progress and where effort is directed. You identify those openings, construct the justification for alteration and help secure concrete positive outcomes. When a solution involves technology you provide the route into IT by refining the need and conveying it intact to the appropriate Product Owner and delivery team. While you sit within the business area and report to its leadership, you maintain a highly joined-up connection with IT and Product Owners. Direct engagement with clients to assist contract fulfilment together with coordination of external suppliers and partners further defines the post. The right individual moves comfortably between boardroom commercial strategy dialogue, process charting and requirement formulation.
Responsibilities
- Work daily alongside the Managing Director and Commercial Director to understand and improve a core business domain
- Surface enhancement opportunities across staffing arrangements, process sequences and system support
- Construct clear arguments for change and contribute to realisation of measurable results
- Capture, refine and transfer technology requirements to Product Owners and delivery teams when systems are involved
- Engage clients directly to support contract outcomes while coordinating third-party suppliers and partners
- Sustain close alignment between business leadership, IT and product roles to prevent loss of intent
Qualifications
- Confidence holding commercial strategy conversations at board and director level
- Proven skill in process mapping and shaping precise business requirements
- Ability to build effective working relationships with senior leaders, Product Owners, clients and external partners
- Analytical approach that identifies improvement potential in people and process as readily as in technology
- Capacity to translate operational insight into practical cases for change that deliver tangible benefits
