Responsibilities

• Document all care activities accurately and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team in real time.
• Support emergency protocols and assist with procedures appropriate to intermediate critical care settings.
• Help maintain a safe, organized unit environment while rounding and prioritizing tasks during coverage periods.
• Foster clear handoffs so primary nurses can resume seamless care after breaks.

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license valid for practice in California.
• Current basic life support certification and advanced cardiac life support training or willingness to obtain them promptly.
• Solid clinical foundation in intermediate or critical care nursing principles, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, think critically under pressure, and collaborate effectively during shift coverage.
