Assistant Banquet Manager

Position Summary

The Assistant Banquet Manager partners closely with senior banquet leadership to deliver seamless, high-caliber events. You will help orchestrate logistics, guide service teams, and uphold guest satisfaction standards for a variety of functions at Atriumhospitality's Charlotte, North Carolina location, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Assist in planning banquet floor plans, timelines, and service sequences that match client needs and space capabilities
• Supervise banquet servers and support staff during setup, service, and breakdown phases to maintain consistent quality
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams on food presentation, timing, and special requests
• Monitor room arrangements, audiovisual needs, and inventory of china, glassware, and linens for readiness
• Respond promptly to on-site client concerns or last-minute adjustments while preserving event flow
• Support staff scheduling, briefings, and performance feedback to keep the banquet team prepared and motivated
• Uphold cleanliness, safety protocols, and regulatory standards throughout all event activities

Who We're Looking For

• Solid prior experience in banquet, catering, or large-scale event service leadership
• Demonstrated ability to organize multiple simultaneous priorities under tight deadlines
