Position Summary

Your Responsibilities

• Assess skill mastery and fitness levels through observation, rubrics, and informal checks, then share results with families and staff

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators to support whole-child development and behavior expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical education, kinesiology, or a closely related field
• Valid Arizona educator certificate with physical education endorsement (or ability to obtain)
• Demonstrated classroom management skills and experience leading large groups of children or adolescents
• Knowledge of progressive skill teaching, adaptive strategies, and state physical education standards
• Current CPR and first-aid certification preferred; strong communication and organizational abilities required
• Commitment to inclusive practices that welcome students of all ability levels at the Camelback 85033 site
