Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor elementary-age children during after-school program hours
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote academic, social, and emotional development
• Provide homework assistance and academic support aligned with classroom learning
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment
• Build positive relationships with families through regular communication and updates
• Follow KinderCare Education's curriculum guidelines and best practices in youth development
• Collaborate with school staff and co-teachers to ensure continuity of care and support

What You Bring

• Experience working with elementary-age children in an educational or care setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage students in learning
• Commitment to child safety, well-being, and positive behavior guidance
• Ability to plan and facilitate structured and unstructured activities
• Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of diverse learners
• Professional demeanor and collaborative approach with staff and families
• Relevant certifications or training in child development, education, or youth services (preferred)
