Role Overview
This Senior Network Engineer (DNS/Proxy) contract role at Assurity Trusted Solutions centres on safeguarding and advancing core network services from the Singapore base. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of DNS architectures and proxy systems, ensuring they deliver consistent performance, resilience and security for users and applications.
Core Duties
- Design, deploy and refine DNS hierarchies together with proxy gateways to support secure and efficient traffic flows
- Investigate and resolve intricate resolution failures, caching anomalies and proxy policy conflicts under live conditions
- Establish continuous monitoring, capacity planning and optimisation routines that keep DNS and proxy platforms highly available
- Work alongside security and infrastructure colleagues to embed best-practice controls and mitigate emerging risks
- Create and maintain accurate documentation while mentoring team members on operational standards for these technologies
What We're Looking For
- Seasoned experience at Senior Network Engineer level with focused mastery of DNS and Proxy platforms
- Practical command of authoritative and recursive DNS, forward and reverse proxies, and associated troubleshooting techniques
- Thorough knowledge of core networking protocols, traffic management and security fundamentals that underpin enterprise DNS/proxy environments
- Clear communication skills and the discipline to deliver independently within a Singapore-based contract setting
- Proven track record of scaling reliable DNS and proxy services across complex production landscapes
