What This Role Involves
This contract role focuses on applying PeopleSoft and ServiceNow expertise to strengthen procurement workflows and financial operations. As the System / Business Analyst (PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Procurement & Financial Operations) NYC - Month Contract, you will bridge operational requirements with technology capabilities, ensuring systems effectively support business processes in a remote setting tied to New York, New York.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders to define and document requirements for PeopleSoft and ServiceNow solutions that aid procurement and financial activities
- Map current processes, analyze gaps, and propose enhancements for greater efficiency in financial operations and procurement cycles
- Support configuration, testing, and rollout of system updates related to the targeted platforms
- Investigate system issues impacting procurement or finance and recommend practical resolutions
- Prepare clear documentation, process flows, and status updates for project tracking
- Partner with remote cross-functional groups to align technical changes with operational priorities
- Review related data sets to surface insights and process improvement opportunities
- Help maintain system integrity during ongoing support of day-to-day procurement and financial tasks
Who We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience as a systems or business analyst working with PeopleSoft and ServiceNow
- Solid grounding in procurement practices together with financial operations processes
- Skill in gathering requirements, modeling processes, and designing functional solutions
- Analytical ability to evaluate issues and recommend effective system or process fixes
- Strong communication and collaboration habits suited to remote teamwork
- Comfort succeeding in contract-based environments with shifting priorities
- Detail orientation when documenting findings and managing concurrent tasks
