Shift Manager

About This Position

We're seeking a Shift Manager for our McDonald's restaurant in Shreve Island, Caddo Parish. In this full-time role, you'll oversee daily restaurant operations, lead crew members, and ensure our customers receive quality service and products. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll drive success during your assigned shifts.

What You'll Do

• Supervise crew members and hold them accountable to McDonald's standards for food preparation, safety, and cleanliness
• Greet customers, address their concerns, and ensure a positive dining experience
• Manage inventory, food costs, and waste reduction
• Train, coach, and develop crew members on procedures and customer service excellence
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies
• Open or close the restaurant as assigned, including cash reconciliation and equipment operation
• Maintain accurate shift records and daily reports

What You Bring

• Previous restaurant, food service, or hospitality management experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability and team supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service commitment with attention to quality and detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mathematical skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
