Maintenance Technician – The Highland

Gallery Residential is hiring a Part-Time Maintenance Technician for The Highland, our luxury apartment community in Hendersonville, Henderson County. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to keep our residents comfortable, we'd like to hear from you.

Role Overview

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our community's physical operations. This part-time position is perfect for someone who thrives in hands-on problem-solving and takes pride in maintaining a high-quality living environment. You'll work across multiple building systems—from plumbing and electrical to HVAC—ensuring everything runs efficiently so our residents can focus on enjoying their homes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Address and complete maintenance requests from residents promptly and professionally
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on apartment units and common areas
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and installations
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain and service HVAC systems to ensure proper heating and cooling
• Document all work orders and track completion status
• Coordinate with management on equipment needs and building upkeep

Skills & Qualifications

• Solid background in general maintenance and basic handyman skills
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to work safely with hand tools and power equipment
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to prioritize multiple requests
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Valid driver's license preferred
