Position Summary

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll enter the field under the guidance of licensed, experienced professionals. This role combines structured on-the-job training with hands-on work across residential plumbing installations, repairs, and system maintenance. You'll develop practical expertise in pipe work, water systems, and diagnostics while building toward plumbing certification and a sustainable career in the trades.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers on residential service calls, new installations, and maintenance projects
• Learn proper operation and care of plumbing tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments
• Help install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
• Support water heater services, including maintenance, repair, and installation work
• Participate in system troubleshooting to identify and address plumbing issues
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and transport materials and equipment safely
• Gain working knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices
• Contribute to customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and professional conduct

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license for travel to customer locations
• Physical capability to lift, bend, climb, and work in varied conditions
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort learning technical systems
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to showing up on time
• Genuine interest in developing plumbing trade skills
• Clear communication and ability to work collaboratively with technicians and customers
