About the Role
As a Level 2 Plumbing Apprentice, you'll advance your technical foundation while working on real plumbing projects. This apprenticeship builds on your Level 1 training, providing deeper exposure to residential and commercial plumbing systems, troubleshooting techniques, and trade-specific safety practices.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs
- Prepare work sites, gather materials, and organize tools for job efficiency
- Learn to read blueprints and plumbing schematics under supervision
- Install and repair fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems
- Participate in troubleshooting water issues, leaks, and system malfunctions
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional worksite
- Document work completed and maintain accurate service records
- Continue formal apprenticeship education through required coursework
What We're Looking For
- Active enrollment in or completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varied conditions
- Strong communication skills and collaborative work ethic
- Genuine commitment to mastering the plumbing trade
- Willingness to follow direction and learn from experienced professionals
