Stability Healthcare is seeking a Travel Emergency Department RN for a full-time position in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, offering $1,738 per week for a 13-week assignment with 12-hour night shifts.

The Opportunity

Join Stability Healthcare as a Travel Emergency Department RN in Tuscaloosa, where you'll deliver urgent and critical care to patients in acute need. This 13-week travel nursing position combines the structure of a predictable 36-hour weekly schedule with the meaningful variety of emergency medicine. Working night shifts in an ED environment, you'll respond to acute medical and surgical emergencies while partnering with seasoned physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and execute emergency interventions under physician oversight
• Coordinate care across the emergency department team, communicating priorities and patient status to physicians and specialists
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and manage electronic health records with accuracy
• Initiate rapid response protocols during critical events and code situations
• Provide clear discharge education and follow-up instructions to patients and families
• Uphold infection control standards and evidence-based clinical practices

Who We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in Alabama or eligible for expedited licensure
• Minimum one year of hands-on emergency department or critical care nursing experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Comfort making rapid clinical decisions under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and team communication skills
• Adaptability and stamina for night shift emergency nursing
• Readiness to relocate for a travel nursing assignment
