Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across the medical-surgical unit during 12-hour night shifts
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document nursing observations in electronic health records
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under physician supervision
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to patient needs with professionalism and compassion throughout your shift rotation
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or valid multi-state nursing compact status
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift schedule
• Willingness to adapt to a new healthcare environment and collaborate across departments
• Valid identification, BLS/CPR certification, and pre-employment health screening clearance
