Position Summary

As a Morning Helper with Amada Senior Care NorthShore, you'll deliver essential assistance to seniors with their morning routines and daily living needs. Your role centers on personal attention, physical support, and the companionship that helps our clients start their day with dignity and confidence. This position is based in Skokie and designed for someone who is naturally empathetic and committed to senior wellness.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing
• Help with breakfast preparation and ensure clients have adequate nutrition
• Provide attentive companionship and emotional reassurance
• Maintain a safe, clean environment within the client's home
• Support mobility and transfers while prioritizing client safety
• Report observations and any concerns to the care coordinator

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 1 year of caregiving or personal assistance experience
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with seniors
• Ability to handle personal care tasks professionally and respectfully
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Flexibility to work morning hours in the Skokie area
• Valid transportation and willingness to work in clients' homes
