What This Role Involves
This is a hands-on research position where you'll contribute to translational research projects that bridge laboratory discoveries and clinical applications. You'll play an integral role in a physician-scientist team dedicated to improving diagnostic precision and advancing scientific understanding in pathology.
What You'll Do
- Assist with laboratory experiments, sample preparation, and data collection
- Maintain and operate diagnostic and research equipment
- Support the design and execution of research protocols
- Document findings, maintain detailed records, and assist with data analysis
- Collaborate with principal investigators, postdoctoral researchers, and clinical staff
- Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot technical issues
- Contribute to research documentation and manuscript preparation
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, pathology, or a related life science discipline
- At least two years of hands-on experience in a research or medical laboratory setting
- Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and standard research techniques
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems or electronic data management
