Travel Physical Therapist – Home Health

What This Role Involves

As a Travel Physical Therapist with MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, you'll deliver skilled physical therapy services to home-bound patients throughout Valley City. This assignment combines the clinical rewards of direct patient care with the professional flexibility that travel positions offer. You'll work 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule, providing rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions in patients' home environments where personalized, in-home care makes the greatest difference.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for home health patients
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, including range-of-motion exercises, strengthening programs, and functional mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols based on clinical outcomes
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation to support continuity of care
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety precautions, and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license
• Prior experience in home health physical therapy preferred; willingness to work in the home health setting is essential
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home patient visits
