About the Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer focused on C5I trainer responsibilities, you serve as a subject-matter expert developing and delivering instruction on complex tactical communications, intelligence systems, and integrated network platforms. You'll work directly with Naval Special Warfare Command personnel, translating advanced technical concepts into practical, hands-on training that enhances operational readiness. Your expertise in antenna theory, RF propagation, cryptographic principles, and systems architecture will be central to mission success.

Core Duties

• Develop comprehensive training programs covering RF systems, cryptography, network devices, and tactical communications
• Deliver instruction to Naval Special Warfare Command personnel on systems operation, integration, and troubleshooting
• Design and conduct hands-on exercises that reinforce command-and-control concepts and network fundamentals
• Analyze system performance, identify gaps in operator knowledge, and refine training curricula accordingly
• Collaborate cross-functionally with systems engineers, operations teams, and training stakeholders to ensure training relevance
• Document technical training materials, standard operating procedures, and systems specifications
• Support systems testing, validation, and field deployment activities as required

What You Bring

• Active security clearance (required for this on-site San Diego position)
• Deep knowledge of RF theory, antenna systems, and electromagnetic propagation
• Strong background in cryptography, network security, and tactical communications systems
• Proven systems engineering expertise in military or defense-sector applications
• Experience developing or delivering technical training to specialized military audiences
• Proficiency with network analysis tools, RF measurement equipment, and systems-level diagnostics
• Excellent communication skills—ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instruction
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
