AutoShop Recruiting is hiring experienced automotive technicians and mechanics at the A and B skill levels for a full-time, in-person position in Houston, Harris County. Earn up to $45 per hour on a flat-rate basis with unlimited earning potential in a high-volume repair facility.
Position Summary
We're seeking dedicated automotive professionals to join our established repair shop in the Houston area. This full-time role offers hands-on work in a busy service center with consistent workflow and strong income opportunities through our flat-rate compensation model. You'll work in a professional shop environment where your technical skills directly impact your earnings.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive services
- Execute component replacement, rebuild work, and complex repairs
- Troubleshoot automotive issues and develop effective solutions
- Document work completed and maintain accurate service records
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
Skills & Qualifications
- ASE A or B level certification or equivalent professional experience
- Expertise with automotive diagnostic tools and standard shop equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced shop setting
- Reliable, punctual work ethic with focus on safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record strongly preferred
