Role Overview

As a Specialist in Biosample Operations, you'll work alongside Biosample Operations Managers to oversee the collection, processing, storage, and shipment of biological samples throughout multi-phase clinical trials. This role is central to Arcus Biosciences' Clinical Operations team, ensuring samples maintain integrity and traceability while meeting strict regulatory and quality standards. You'll coordinate with both internal teams and external clinical sites, serving as a key link in the clinical supply chain.

What You'll Do

• Organize and execute biosample logistics operations for Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and documentation of biological samples
• Coordinate sample collection, processing, and shipment with clinical trial sites and laboratory partners
• Monitor sample storage conditions and ensure compliance with temperature-controlled requirements
• Support cross-functional teams in resolving sample-related issues or discrepancies
• Prepare and review sample shipment documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Participate in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and sample integrity

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in clinical trial operations, laboratory sample management, or similar healthcare logistics roles
• Knowledge of biosample handling, storage protocols, and chain-of-custody procedures
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple samples and timelines
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems or inventory management software
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Familiarity with GxP compliance and clinical trial regulations is preferred
