Contracts Manager

Saab is hiring a Contracts Manager to join our team in Parish, Oswego County. This full-time position plays a critical role in managing our contract lifecycle across the Air Traffic Management and Defense divisions, supporting proposals and agreements that power our mission-critical solutions globally.

About the Role

As Contracts Manager, you'll own the full spectrum of contract management—from initial proposal development through negotiation, execution, and ongoing administration. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of contracts supporting our Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Defense business units, ensuring each agreement protects Saab's interests while delivering value to our clients. Your work directly impacts how we deliver solutions to commercial aviation, defense agencies, and strategic partners worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Develop, review, and negotiate contracts across multiple business lines and customer sectors
• Lead contract execution processes, including preparation of amendments and modifications
• Manage the proposal phase, ensuring contractual terms align with business objectives and compliance requirements
• Administer ongoing contracts, tracking performance and addressing changes as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, program management, and operations
• Maintain detailed contract documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration
• Strong expertise in risk assessment, contract compliance, and legal requirements
• Knowledge of government contracting practices, federal acquisition regulations, or commercial contract law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with contract management tools, systems, and business software
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to effectively manage multiple contracts simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail
