Consultant – Infrastructure Technology Solutions

Black & Veatch seeks a Consultant - Infrastructure Technology Solutions for our State Farm, Arlington County office. As a full-time consultant, you'll help shape how organizations deploy, optimize, and modernize their infrastructure technology strategies.

About the Role

You'll join a team delivering comprehensive infrastructure solutions to clients across industries. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, allowing you to influence infrastructure decisions at scale and work on projects that matter to communities we serve.

What You'll Do

• Assess client infrastructure technology needs and develop targeted solution recommendations
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and project teams to translate strategy into actionable plans
• Support solution design and feasibility analysis for infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business drivers and technology requirements
• Contribute to proposal development and solution presentations
• Document findings and recommendations to guide implementation and investment decisions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field
• Experience in infrastructure technology, IT systems, or technology consulting roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work across technical and business domains
• Excellent communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Self-directed approach with capability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships
• Familiarity with infrastructure technology trends, cloud platforms, or enterprise systems is a plus
