Technical Project Manager, Audio

Production Resource Group seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager, Audio to join our team in Lake Balboa, California. As a full-time member of our operations team, you'll drive the coordination and delivery of audio solutions for live events and production clients across the entertainment industry.

About the Role

In this Technical Project Manager, Audio position, you'll manage projects from conception through delivery, ensuring flawless execution of audio systems and equipment for diverse clients and event types. You'll serve as the technical liaison between clients, our production team, and internal stakeholders, maintaining the highest standards for which Production Resource Group is known.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate audio system design, deployment, and integration for live events and production rentals
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client deliverables and deadlines
• Conduct client consultations to understand technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions
• Collaborate with audio engineers, technicians, and equipment specialists to execute productions
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions quickly to minimize production disruptions
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and coordinate handoffs with field teams
• Ensure compliance with equipment standards and safety protocols across all productions

What We're Looking For

• Proven project management experience in audio, live events, or entertainment production
• Strong technical knowledge of audio systems, equipment, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing client and team interactions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
