Join Amazon as a Senior UX Designer focused on Transaction Success for Prime Video, based in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood. You'll design and optimize the payment and checkout experiences that keep millions of customers seamlessly purchasing and managing their entertainment subscriptions across all devices.
About the Role
Transaction Success at Prime Video means creating frictionless, secure, and intuitive pathways for customers to subscribe, purchase content, and manage their accounts. As a Senior UX Designer, you'll own the design of these critical transaction flows across web, mobile, and TV platforms. Your work directly shapes both user satisfaction and business performance, requiring you to balance elegant interaction design with conversion optimization and payment security best practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and continuous refinement of checkout flows, subscription interfaces, and payment management experiences across all Prime Video platforms
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design directions and identify opportunities
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into user-centered design solutions
- Create prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate interaction patterns to development teams
- Build and maintain design systems and patterns specific to transaction experiences within Prime Video
- Mentor and support junior designers while contributing to team design standards and practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of UX design experience, including demonstrated success with transaction interfaces, subscription flows, or complex user journeys
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving, and ability to ship products at significant scale
- Expertise with design tools including Figma, Sketch, or comparable platforms
- Proven experience designing intuitive experiences across multiple platforms and devices
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business teams
- Comfort interpreting analytics, A/B testing results, and user research to inform design decisions
- A commitment to creating accessible, inclusive experiences that work for diverse audiences
