Carroll County Schools seeks an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026–27 season at Carroll County High School. This part-time, seasonal coaching position offers the opportunity to mentor student athletes, support the varsity or JV program, and contribute to competitive basketball excellence in the community.
About the Role
Join Carroll County Schools as an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach and help shape the next generation of athletes. In this part-time, seasonal role, you'll work alongside the head coach to develop players' skills, foster team cohesion, and create a positive athletic environment focused on both performance and personal growth.
What You'll Do
- Conduct practice drills and individual player instruction under the head coach's direction
- Mentor and support athletes on fundamentals, strategy, and game preparation
- Assist with team logistics, including equipment management and game setup
- Foster positive team culture and model professional coaching conduct
- Contribute to player development and skill advancement throughout the season
- Support the head coach in all aspects of program management and competition

- Demonstrated knowledge of girls' basketball techniques and competitive play
- Experience working with high school–age student athletes
- Strong communication and leadership abilities

Compensation
