RN – Full Time Days – LTC

Join Good Samaritan as a Registered Nurse in a full-time day shift position at our long-term care facility in Luverne, Rock County. We're seeking a compassionate, dedicated RN to provide quality nursing care to our senior residents in a values-driven environment rooted in over 100 years of service and Christian tradition.

About the Role

As an RN on our day shift team, you'll lead clinical care for our long-term care residents, working 12-hour shifts as part of our full-time nursing staff. This is an opportunity to practice meaningful nursing in a supportive setting where your expertise directly improves residents' lives and well-being.

What You'll Do

• Assess, monitor, and document resident health status and nursing needs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and support staff
• Communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Advocate for resident needs and ensure quality care delivery throughout your shift

What We're Looking For

• Current, valid RN licensure in Minnesota
• Experience in long-term care or medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
• Ability to work independently and lead a nursing team
