Facility Maintenance Manager

G & C Food Distributors is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of facility operations and maintenance at our Alachua, Alachua County location. As a full-time member of our team, you'll play a vital role in keeping our food distribution operations running smoothly and safely.

About the Role

As Facility Maintenance Manager, you'll lead our maintenance efforts across our food distribution facility. We're one of the nation's most respected food redistributors, storing and distributing over 4,000 food items to customers across multiple states. Your expertise will help maintain the high operational standards our business depends on.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all facility maintenance operations, including HVAC, refrigeration systems, and warehouse infrastructure
• Direct and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Respond to equipment failures and coordinate emergency repairs
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and food industry standards
• Manage maintenance budgets and vendor relationships
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify areas for improvement
• Document maintenance activities and generate performance reports
