Exeter Government Services is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst – Intermediate to join our team at Redstone Arsenal in Madison County, Alabama. In this full-time role, you'll drive enterprise system solutions that support critical government operations and advance our mission of delivering world-class IT services to the U.S. Army.
About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst – Intermediate, you'll bridge business needs and technical solutions. You'll work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, design system improvements, and oversee implementation of technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and mission readiness.
What You'll Do
- Gather and document business requirements from military and civilian stakeholders to inform system design and configuration
- Analyze existing enterprise systems and identify opportunities for optimization, modernization, and cost reduction
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop system specifications, test plans, and deployment strategies
- Conduct stakeholder training and provide ongoing support for system adoption and process improvements
- Monitor system performance metrics and recommend enhancements based on operational feedback
- Support security compliance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or similar technical role
- Active Secret security clearance (required to work on this assignment)
- Strong ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proficiency with enterprise systems, databases, and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Problem-solving mindset with demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion
