Supplier Manager – CN

Lumen is hiring a Supplier Manager in Mobile, Mobile County to strengthen our vendor partnerships and supply chain operations. In this full-time position, you'll manage critical suppliers who enable our network infrastructure and technology initiatives.

About the Role

As our Supplier Manager - CN, you'll oversee a portfolio of strategic vendors and suppliers supporting our network operations. You'll develop strong supplier relationships, negotiate favorable contracts, monitor performance against service level agreements, and identify opportunities to improve cost-efficiency and service quality. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver reliable connectivity and technology solutions to customers.

What You'll Do

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet our quality, cost, and delivery standards
• Negotiate contracts and establish terms that balance competitive pricing with long-term partnership value
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and compliance with agreed-upon service levels
• Develop collaborative supplier relationships that drive continuous improvement and innovation
• Analyze procurement data and supply market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to align supplier capabilities with business needs
• Resolve supplier issues and disputes to ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Report on supply chain health and supplier performance to management

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in supplier management, procurement, or vendor relations
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities
• Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building effective partnerships
• Proficiency with procurement and enterprise systems
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Prior experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or technology services preferred
