Travel Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

AHS Staffing is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) for a full-time travel assignment in Hyannis, MA. This 13-week contract role offers $2,611 per week and places you in a meaningful clinical position serving the Barnstable County community on Cape Cod.

About the Role

You'll provide direct social work services in Hyannis, delivering evidence-based clinical care to individuals and families navigating mental health, psychosocial, and complex social needs. Working rotating 8-hour shifts across a 5-day schedule, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team committed to comprehensive, person-centered outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with client goals and clinical best practices
• Deliver direct clinical counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support to diverse client populations
• Coordinate care coordination and community resource referrals, connecting clients to essential services and support systems
• Maintain detailed, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation and health records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure integrated, holistic treatment
• Advocate for client welfare, autonomy, and informed participation in treatment planning

What We're Looking For

• Valid Licensed Social Worker (LSW) licensure in Massachusetts or comparable state credential
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in assessment, case management, and mental health or medical social work
• Strong therapeutic communication and crisis de-escalation abilities
• Ability to work independently within collaborative healthcare settings
• Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and cultural humility
• Adaptability to rotating shift work and travel healthcare assignments
