About the Role
In this on-site role, you'll develop and oversee all safety operations across energy and data center project sites. You'll establish strategic safety programs, direct compliance initiatives, and ensure every team member returns home safely each day. This position requires regular travel to project locations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive safety protocols and risk management programs
- Conduct hazard assessments, safety audits, and complete incident investigations
- Design and facilitate safety training for field crews, contractors, and project teams
- Maintain detailed safety records, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and applicable state safety regulations
- Partner with project managers and supervisors to achieve safety performance goals
- Monitor emerging safety practices and industry standards relevant to energy and data center work
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of project safety management experience in construction, energy, or data center environments
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing safety programs across multiple project sites
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with facility for engaging teams across all levels
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to project locations
- Valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete background screening
