Assistant Superintendent

About the Role

As Assistant Superintendent, you will play a critical role in supporting daily job site operations while developing the skills necessary to progress into senior project leadership. You'll work alongside our project teams to ensure successful project execution, maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence across multiple concurrent construction initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Assist in coordinating job site activities, including crew scheduling, material logistics, and subcontractor communication
• Conduct routine safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture across the job site
• Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes
• Support project documentation, including daily reports, submittals, and RFI tracking
• Coordinate with the general superintendent to troubleshoot challenges and implement solutions
• Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment, and material usage
• Communicate progress updates and site conditions to project managers and clients

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of construction experience, ideally with prior exposure to general contracting or large-scale projects
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and willingness to enforce safety protocols consistently
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with crews, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Proficiency in construction technology and ability to learn project management software
• High school diploma or equivalent; construction management degree or OSHA certification is a plus
