HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a part-time Allied CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in Atlantic Beach, Duval County. In this hands-on clinical role, you'll operate advanced scanning equipment and support our radiology department in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to patients throughout our facility.
About the Role
As a CT Technologist at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, you'll operate computed tomography scanners and play a vital role in the diagnostic imaging process. This part-time position offers scheduling flexibility while enabling you to make a meaningful difference in patient care and clinical outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
- Operate computed tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per established protocols
- Monitor patients during scans and respond promptly to their clinical needs
- Maintain accurate and complete records of imaging procedures and scan data
- Follow radiation safety protocols and adhere to infection control standards consistently
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to achieve optimal image quality
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Current CT Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent) or current eligibility for certification
- State of Florida radiologic technology license or ability to obtain licensure
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Demonstrated commitment to radiation safety and quality imaging standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
