About the Role
Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) for our night shift team. Working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with weekend rotation, you'll be an essential part of our clinical staff, providing direct patient care and supporting our rehabilitation mission in Owenton.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, monitoring vital signs and patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within your scope of practice
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Respond to patient calls and concerns throughout your night shift
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in our rehabilitation setting
What We're Looking For
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in Kentucky (or equivalent state licensure)
- Valid nursing license in good standing
- Commitment to patient-centered care and rehabilitation principles
- Ability to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) and weekend rotations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple patient assignments while maintaining quality care
