Industrial Painter

Aerotek is seeking a full-time Industrial Painter for 1st shift positions in Norwood Young America, Carver County. This is an ideal opportunity for someone experienced in spray application and surface preparation who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards.

About the Role

As an Industrial Painter with Aerotek, you'll work in a manufacturing environment applying protective and aesthetic finishes to products and materials. Your technical skills in surface preparation and coating application, combined with your commitment to safety, will be essential to success on 1st shift.

What You'll Do

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and primer application to meet project specifications
• Spray industrial-grade paints and coatings using professional equipment and spray guns
• Follow all hazardous materials regulations and HAZMAT safety protocols for paints and coatings
• Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment, including respirators
• Keep painting tools and equipment clean and well-maintained for optimal performance
• Verify finished work meets quality standards and coating specifications

• Background or proven ability in spray painting and surface preparation techniques
• Dedication to following workplace safety procedures and consistently using required PPE
• Availability to work 1st shift in an active industrial manufacturing setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality results
