Project Controls Scheduler

Esp Associates is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to support program and construction management initiatives in Tampa, Hillsborough County, or Austin, Texas. This full-time role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position in managing complex project schedules and controls on high-impact PMCM engagements.

About the Role

As a Project Controls Scheduler with Esp Associates, you will be the driving force behind schedule development, maintenance, and optimization for construction and program management projects. Your primary focus will be ensuring projects stay on track through rigorous planning, risk assessment, and proactive schedule management. This position requires direct collaboration with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to deliver accurate forecasts and actionable schedule insights that keep programs on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard tools and methodologies
• Monitor schedule performance and communicate progress, variances, and recovery strategies to project leadership
• Identify scheduling risks, constraints, and opportunities for acceleration or optimization
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate their activities into the master schedule
• Prepare detailed schedule reports, forecasts, and analytics for executive and stakeholder review
• Manage budget tracking and cost control activities in coordination with project controls leadership
• Support project planning and process control procedures aligned with company and client standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler or Project Controls professional in construction or program management
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, project delivery methods, and contract administration
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
