Maintenance Manager

Glacier West Self Storage seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager for our Vancouver, Clark County facility. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead maintenance operations across our storage locations, managing equipment, facilities, and grounds while building a career path in the self-storage industry.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager at Glacier West, you'll oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our storage facilities, ensuring all buildings, systems, and grounds are properly maintained to the highest standards. This position demands both hands-on technical expertise and strong supervisory capabilities to lead and direct maintenance teams.

What You'll Do

• Perform and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and structural components
• Manage general labor tasks including grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and facility upkeep across assigned locations
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment performance, and facility condition
• Supervise maintenance team members in completing assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and to specification
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and equipment servicing
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and facility issues to minimize downtime and ensure tenant satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in maintenance operations, facility management, or related maintenance field
• Strong technical skills with hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising or training maintenance teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and storage tenants
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests
