About the Role
As a Campus Retail Associate, you'll be at the heart of student life—working in a bookstore that matters to the campus experience. You'll support our mission to provide essential course materials, textbooks, and campus merchandise while creating welcoming, efficient shopping experiences for students, faculty, and staff.
What You'll Do
- Deliver excellent customer service to students, instructors, and campus visitors at checkout and throughout the store
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain organized inventory, shelving, and merchandise displays
- Assist customers in locating required textbooks, course materials, and campus apparel
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments with attention to accuracy and security
- Support store operations including restocking, organizing stock rooms, and preparing shipments
- Contribute to a clean, organized store environment
- Collaborate with teammates to meet customer needs and store goals
What We're Looking For
- Customer service experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse people
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability to handle a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic math skills and comfort with point-of-sale technology
- Willingness to lift, carry, and organize inventory (up to 50 lbs regularly)
- Flexibility to work shifts that support campus operations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
