RN Operating Room

Join UCHealth's Operating Room nursing team at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. This full-time registered nurse position offers flexible scheduling with a competitive pay range of $38.91–$60.31 per hour based on your clinical experience, working a 72-hour biweekly schedule in an onsite surgical setting.

About the Role

As an Operating Room RN, you'll provide expert perioperative nursing care in our surgical suites, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians. You'll maintain the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and surgical excellence while delivering compassionate care to patients before, during, and after their procedures.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and sterilize operating rooms, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment meet safety and sterility standards
• Provide perioperative patient care and monitoring throughout surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team while maintaining an organized and efficient operating room environment
• Document patient care, surgical outcomes, and nursing interventions in medical records
• Uphold infection control protocols and UCHealth's patient safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Dedication to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
