About the Role
As a Customer Service Associate at Savers | Value Village, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable face of our store. You'll assist customers, process transactions, manage store operations, and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued. Your work directly supports the mission that makes Savers | Value Village one of the largest for-profit thrift operators across the United States, Canada, and Australia.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist customers as they browse our selection of gently-used clothing, accessories, and household goods
- Process purchases, returns, and inquiries with accuracy and professionalism
- Answer questions about product quality, pricing, and merchandise
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual displays
- Handle cash and card transactions while following security procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support donation intake and merchandise processing as needed
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to a full-time schedule
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic math and cash handling abilities
- Experience in retail or customer-facing roles is a plus
