About the Role
As a Pit Technician, you'll be essential to our daily operations, working in our service bay to perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections. With more than 350 locations across 21 states, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers combines efficient service delivery with comprehensive automotive care—and this location needs a dependable technician who takes pride in quality work.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements following company standards
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs to discuss with customers
- Assist with tire services, rotations, and balance work in the service bay
- Operate vehicle lifts and bay equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols
- Support the team to keep service bays running on schedule
- Document completed services accurately for customer and company records
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an automotive service environment or related maintenance field
- Ability to follow technical procedures and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in a service bay setting
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
- ASE certification or willingness to pursue certification is a plus
