As a Heavy Duty Mechanic at BURNCO, you'll be the backbone of our fleet operations. This full-time position places you at the center of maintaining and repairing the heavy equipment that powers our construction materials business. Your technical expertise and commitment to quality will directly ensure our customers receive the dependable service they depend on.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures on heavy equipment and machinery
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unexpected downtime
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex equipment components
• Replace worn, damaged, or defective parts with precision and attention to specifications
• Document all repairs, maintenance work, and equipment performance in maintenance records
• Follow all safety regulations and workplace best practices
• Work collaboratively with team members and operations staff to keep equipment operational

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty equipment or similar machinery
• Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment architecture
• Proficiency with mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Genuine commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Physical capability to perform work in varied conditions, including lifting and working at heights
