Assistant General Counsel – Litigation

Join ADT as an Assistant General Counsel – Litigation, based in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County. In this full-time role, you'll lead a significant portfolio of commercial and litigation matters, partner with business leaders across the organization, and drive strategic risk mitigation and compliance initiatives.

About the Role

As Assistant General Counsel – Litigation at ADT, you'll manage complex claims and disputes across multiple practice areas, from commercial litigation to regulatory matters and tort defense. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-level strategic guidance to the organization while maintaining hands-on involvement in key legal matters. You'll report to the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, working within the legal department to strengthen ADT's legal posture and protect company interests.

What You'll Do

• Oversee a diverse litigation portfolio encompassing commercial disputes, regulatory issues, tort matters, and related claims
• Direct and supervise relationships with outside counsel, including strategy development and case evaluation
• Provide strategic legal advice to business leaders on litigation exposure, settlement options, and dispute resolution
• Support compliance and risk mitigation efforts across the organization
• Prepare legal analysis, documentation, and recommendations on pending and threatened litigation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align legal strategy with business objectives

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in good standing (state required)
• Significant experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, or in-house counsel roles
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel
• Strong strategic thinking, legal analysis, and business acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across business units and executive leadership
