Fitness Trainer

About the Role

As a Fitness Trainer at our Vauxhall location, you'll play a key role in delivering Planet Fitness's signature group fitness experiences. You'll design personalized workout programs for new members, demonstrate proper equipment techniques, and lead engaging fitness sessions that inspire results. This is a part-time position that combines one-on-one coaching with group fitness instruction.

What You'll Do

• Conduct and lead Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness programs and classes
• Create customized workout plans tailored to individual member goals and fitness levels
• Provide hands-on instruction on proper equipment use and exercise form
• Welcome and orient new members, answering fitness questions and building their confidence
• Maintain a positive, energetic presence that reflects Planet Fitness's judgment-free gym philosophy
• Track member progress and provide ongoing motivation and support

What We're Looking For

• Current fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience training diverse fitness levels and age groups
• Strong communication and motivational skills
• Knowledge of exercise science, proper form, and injury prevention
• Passion for fitness and helping others reach their goals
• Reliable, professional attitude with excellent attendance
