About the Role
As Automotive Assistant Manager, you'll play an essential role in supporting daily operations and driving performance within our Oxnard shop. Working alongside our management team, you'll oversee team performance, maintain operational excellence, and ensure every customer receives the high-quality automotive service that builds loyalty and drives business success.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor automotive service team members, fostering professional development, accountability, and a collaborative work environment
- Support sales objectives and customer retention through consistent delivery of excellent service and attention to customer needs
- Assist with team scheduling, hiring support, onboarding, and training to build capable, engaged automotive staff
- Track inventory, manage supplies, and maintain equipment to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards throughout the service facility and customer areas
- Participate in opening and closing procedures and support management in achieving operational and sales performance targets

- Relevant experience in retail, automotive service, or customer-facing environments, ideally with supervisory or team-leadership responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse team members, customers, and management

- Willingness to develop knowledge of tire products, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service operations
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
