About the Role

This is a full-time position operating Class 8 reefer equipment across established regional lanes. As a CDL-A regional reefer driver, you'll transport temperature-sensitive goods safely and on schedule, maintaining the high standards that keep our customers and shippers confident in Purdy Brothers Trucking.

What You'll Do

• Operate refrigerated trailers across multi-state regional routes
• Maintain precise temperature and cargo monitoring to ensure freight integrity
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections following FMCSA regulations
• Manage delivery schedules and coordinate with dispatch and receiving facilities
• Maintain accurate logbooks and compliance documentation
• Drive defensively and maintain a strong safety record
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status

What We're Looking For

• Active CDL-A with reefer truck driving experience
• Clean driving record and solid FMCSA compliance history
• Proven experience operating refrigerated equipment
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and safety focus
• Ability to work independently and meet tight delivery schedules
