About the Role

As a VP Ag/Commercial Loan Officer based in Wisconsin, you will own the full lifecycle of agricultural and commercial loan decisions. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position where you will assess borrower creditworthiness, guide applicants through documentation requirements, and make sound lending decisions that balance client needs with institutional risk standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate ag and commercial loan applications, verifying creditworthiness and the completeness of supporting documentation.
• Strengthen incoming applications by identifying gaps and communicating any additional materials applicants need to provide.
• Render lending decisions, approving qualified loans through the appropriate disbursement process such as issuing checks or forwarding files for funding.
• Decline applications that do not meet underwriting criteria, clearly explaining the shortcomings to applicants.
• Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with agricultural producers and commercial borrowers across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven background as an agricultural or commercial loan officer, ideally at a senior or vice president level.
• Strong command of credit analysis, loan underwriting, and documentation review.
• Confidence making approval and denial decisions and communicating them professionally to clients.
• Ability to work on-site in Wisconsin and serve borrowers throughout the local market.
