About the Role

The Data Analytics team at Cardinal Health is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and presenting insights that enable business leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions. As Senior Specialist, Data Analytics, you'll oversee the complete analytics lifecycle—from defining business questions to delivering polished, actionable findings to stakeholders at all levels. You'll manage our analytic data platforms, design and implement reporting solutions, and build business intelligence capabilities that serve the needs of teams across Cardinal Health.

What You'll Do

• Oversee analytics initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring insights are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives
• Manage and optimize data platforms that serve as the foundation for enterprise reporting and analytics
• Design and implement business intelligence and reporting solutions tailored to specific business unit requirements
• Transform data analysis into clear, compelling presentations for C-suite and departmental leadership
• Identify trends, patterns, and untapped opportunities through advanced data exploration and statistical analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytics requirements, success metrics, and data governance standards
• Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility throughout our analytics infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience with data analytics platforms, reporting solutions, and business intelligence implementation
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated success managing large, complex datasets
• Expertise in data analysis, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Exceptional communication skills—the ability to convey technical findings in business terms to non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations
• Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, business intelligence, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong project leadership and cross-team collaboration experience
