About the Role
As an Intermediate Designer at WATG, you'll bridge conceptual thinking and detailed execution. You'll work on diverse hospitality and destination projects, translating client vision and research insights into compelling design solutions. This position values both your individual design contributions and your ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams that span our offices from Atlantic City to Singapore.
What You'll Do
- Develop and refine design concepts for hospitality venues, resorts, and destination experiences
- Create detailed design documentation including drawings, renderings, and specification materials
- Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and feedback integration
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and creative professionals to solve complex design challenges
- Research design trends, materials, and precedents to inform project direction
- Support project teams from early concept through implementation phases
- Contribute ideas that elevate the overall quality and innovation of WATG's portfolio
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of professional design experience, ideally in hospitality, commercial, or destination design
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools)
- Strong visual communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work from concept through detailed design and coordination
- Collaborative mindset and comfort communicating across disciplines and cultures
- Attention to detail and commitment to design excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, or a closely related field is preferred
